Healthii People is delighted to have partnered with Active Ability, experts in mobile disability therapy, in support of recruiting their very next Occupational Therapist to join their South Western Sydney team on a permanent full time basis. Since 2014, Active Ability have been supporting people with disability to gain independence, improved function and enjoy better quality of life.

About the Occupational Therapist day to day duties:
  
  • Deliver community-based occupational therapy services to NDIS participants in their homes and local communities.
  • Complete functional capacity assessments and comprehensive OT evaluations.
  • Develop person-centred therapy plans aligned with participant goals.
  • Prescribe and recommend assistive technology and equipment.
  • Conduct home modification assessments and provide recommendations.
  • Support participants with activities of daily living, independence, and community participation.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare NDIS reports, progress notes, and funding review documentation.

  
  
  
  
  
About You as the successful Occupational Therapist:
  
  
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience across the NDIS sector
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Orientation
  • Full Australian working rights
