Healthii People are very pleased to have partnered once again with Lives Lived Well, who in collaboration with Government and the local PHN are delivering free Mental Health Services to vulnerable children up to 11 years old and their families in the community. This free service Warrarinthi Pirrkurna (Healing Stories) is designed to support parents, children and families with complex mental health challenges including perinatal mental health concerns

You will work within a small, cohesive team and provide intake, assessments and short to mid term interventions & therapy to children and their families with the goal of strengthening family relationships, increasing parenting capacity and supporting mental wellbeing.

About you:

• Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy or MH Nursing
• Mental Health Accreditation with a governing body (AASW, AHPRA, OTA, ACMHN)
• Knowledge of trauma informed therapeutic frameworks and therapies
• High level ability to identify, assess and manage risk
• Experience supporting children and families with mental health challenges
