The Founding Directors, being passionate Psychologists, wanted to engage with people in therapy that was helpful and enriching, Lianne and Gwenda started working together in private practice more than 20 years ago and out of friendship, mutual respect , deep professional commitment and excitement in the transformative possibilities of their work and The LifeWise Centre was established.

The current psychologists at The Lifewise Centre are skilled in working with people of all abilities using the following treatment models:

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - ACT

As the successful General Psychologist will be:
  

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology
• AHPRA Registration as a General or Clinical Psychologist
• Ability to obtain a Medicare provider number
• Capacity to build effective therapeutic relationships
• Ability to respond effectively to a range of presenting issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both within a team and autonomously; and
• Holds a current Working with Children’s Check
• NSW Police Check
• First Aid Certificate.
• Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screener Check.
• Building rapport with clients
• Passionate about facilitating positive change.
• A team player
• Proven experience working with clients across a range of presentations including anxiety disorders, behaviour difficulties, intellectual disabilities, mood disorders, ASD, ADHD and trauma.
